He is the Founder and Current President of IMAGINE esg.

He has accumulated 40 years of experience in development and cooperation. He graduated in Political Science at the Sapienza University of Rome. After an initial stint at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (INPS), he began his career in development cooperation organizations.  First as a volunteer for an NGO in Benin and later as a consultant for the World Food Program and FAO in Benin, Niger, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, dealing with monitoring and evaluation projects and development of information systems. Since the late 1980s he has worked as an expert for the Italian Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and then, from 2016, with the new Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation which took its place. As an expert in information, statistical and electoral systems and in institutional strengthening, he has identified, formulated and managed projects in all  developing countries where the Italian Cooperation operates. He was Director of the main Italian Cooperation offices abroad, in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi, Ethiopia and South Sudan, Lebanon and Syria, Kenya and East African countries (Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda , Burundi). He was technical manager of the aid directed to African countries  and for several years he coordinated the humanitarian aid of the Italian cooperation, managing, among others, the operations for the Tsunami in Asia, the earthquakes in Indonesia and Pakistan, and the conflicts in Afghanistan, Lebanon, South Sudan.

In 2002, in his capacity as Director of the Italian Cooperation Office in Mozambique, he conceived and promoted the creation and development of CinemArena.
